MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE - RECOMMENDED PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE TIPS

The following preventive maintenance tips will help keep your SportsArt equipment in peak condition and prolong the life of certain components. Preventive maintenance must be performed on a regular basis to aid in the safe and trouble-free operation of your equipment.

CYCLES:
  • Display console and handlebar should be cleaned after each usage with a mild solution or cloth. Avoid using paper towels or any acid based cleaners as it may cause damage or discoloration to the display.
  • Clean all exterior surfaces regularly with mild soap or Simple Green. Wipe any perspiration or liquid spills from grips or painted surfaces.
  • Remove covers and vacuum carefully around parts to keep debris from accumulating. This can be performed on a weekly or monthly basis depending on usage. REMINDER: For safety reasons, unplug plug-in units before removing covers.
  • Wipe seat pads, handlebar, and frame surface with clean cloth on a weekly basis to prevent build up of dirt or debris. Inspect drive belt for wears and frame for grooves or nicks.
  • Check seat assembly operation once a week.
  • Inspect power cord, cables, fuses, and grips for wear and replace as needed.
