The following preventive maintenance tips will help keep your SportsArt
equipment in peak condition and prolong the life of certain components.
Preventive maintenance must be performed on a regular basis to aid in the safe
and trouble-free operation of your equipment.
CLIMBERS:
- Display console and handrails should be cleaned after each usage
with a mild solution or cloth. Avoid using paper towels or any acid based
cleaners as it may cause damage or discoloration to the display.
- Clean all exterior surfaces regularly with mild soap or Simple
Green. Wipe any perspiration or liquid spills from grips or painted surfaces.
- Remove covers and vacuum around parts carefully to keep debris
from accumulating. This can be performed on a weekly or monthly basis depending
on usage. REMINDER: Unplug unit before removing covers due to high voltage that
may still be present, if applicable.
- Wipe foot pedals, handrails, pedestal, and frame surface with
clean cloth on a weekly basis to prevent build up of dirt or debris. Inspect
drive belt for wears and frame for grooves or nicks.
- Check flywheel assembly operation once a month.
- Inspect power cord, connectors, and grips for wear and replace
as needed.
- Inspect all bolts and screws for looseness, tighten as required.
